În perioada 28.10-2.11.2014, delegația României a participat prin intermediul Federației Române de Freestyle Kickboxing la Campionatul Mondial de Arte Marțiale Unificate din Marina di Carrara, Italia.
România a câştigat peste 50 de medalii la Campionatul Mondial de Arte Marțiale
Cei 28 de sportivi ai lotului național au făcut față cu succes presiunii celei mai mari competiții de freestyle kickboxing din lume, cu peste 10000 sportivi, 38 de federatii mondiale din 122 de țări. Dând dovadă atât de o bună pregătire cât și de o dorință uriașă de a face să se cânte imnul țării pe podium, au reușit să obțină 16 locuri 1, 25 locuri 2, 8 locuri 3 și 9 locuri 4, astfel:
